Key Responsibilities of the Publications Writing Intern
As a Publications Writing Intern at GSK’s Bengaluru Luxor North Tower location, you will play an essential role in supporting the publications writing team. Your main duties will include:
- Technical Writing and Project Management Support:
- Assisting with writing tasks and project management related to publication deliverables.
- Contributing to the execution of encore publications, ensuring adherence to standard guidelines.
- Aiding in content review both before and after submission to maintain consistency and quality.
- Supporting the timely delivery of impactful, high-standard publications.
- Quality Assurance and Data QC:
- Conducting quality control checks on publication data to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Ensuring all project management tools like Datavision and tracking sheets are regularly updated.
- Preparing briefing packages and reviewing drafts to align with GSK’s quality standards.
- Adherence to Publication Practices:
- Learning and applying good publication practices (GPP/ICMJE) to ensure compliance with GSK’s policies.
- Upholding high scientific integrity in data interpretation and supporting publication standards.
- Training and Development:
- Participating in training sessions and seeking guidance from senior publication writers.
- Proactively developing skills in medical writing and publication management to enhance career growth.
Qualifications for the Role
- Educational Requirement: An M. Pharm degree, preferably for candidates who have completed their coursework in 2024.
