Job Responsibilities
As a Trainee Medical Coder, your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and interpreting patient records to assign standardized medical codes.
- Ensuring accuracy in coding based on medical reports and diagnoses.
- Maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to clarify medical information.
- Ensuring the integrity of medical data for insurance claims and reimbursements.
- Staying updated with the latest medical coding guidelines and industry trends.
Qualifications Required
To be eligible for the Trainee Medical Coder role, candidates must have:
- A medical background with a UG/PG degree in BDS, MDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPT, MPT, MD, or MBBS.
- 0 to 7 years of experience in either a clinical or non-clinical field.
- A keen interest in medical coding and healthcare administration.
Essential Skills
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- Strong communication and interpretation skills to analyze medical records effectively.
- A good understanding of medical terminologies, human anatomy, and physiology.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in assigning medical codes.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic work environment.

- CTC: ₹33,000 per month
