About the Role
The Associate Analyst ARIA role is part of Novartis’ Insights & Analytics (I&A) organization, which supports market access decisions affecting more than 500 million patients globally. The ARIA team focuses on three major pillars:
- Payer Insights
- Channel Strategy
- Access Enablement
Professionals joining this team will analyze healthcare data and generate actionable insights related to payer dynamics, reimbursement strategies, pricing, patient access, and channel performance in the US pharmaceutical market.
Key Responsibilities
- Support analytical projects across payer insights, channel strategy, and access enablement teams.
- Analyze structured and unstructured healthcare datasets including medical claims, pharmacy claims, formulary feeds, and patient services data.
- Conduct descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics related to product access and reimbursement.
- Develop payer, account, and channel segmentation models.
- Assist in building scenario-based models for pricing, contracts, and policy changes.
- Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Write and optimize SQL and Dataiku queries for large datasets.
- Validate and reconcile data to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Standardize reporting processes and analytical assets.
- Present findings through reports, presentations, and data visualization.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in:
- Engineering
- Pharmacy
- Medicine

- Statistics

- Business Administration
- MS, MPH, MBA, or related disciplines
Experience
- 0 to 2 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
