Key Responsibilities
As an AWVS Compliance Associate I, you will support animal welfare and regulatory compliance operations through documentation, data management, and process coordination activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining systems that store animal welfare and regulatory data.
- Prepare compliance documentation for inspections and client visits.
- Support tracking and management of licenses, permits, and certifications.
- Maintain centralized compliance records and respond to client requests.
- Coordinate updates to departmental policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned training programs and compliance tasks.
- Provide basic system support and training assistance to team members.
- Perform additional compliance-related duties as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience in:
- Life Sciences
- Regulatory Affairs
- Compliance
- Related scientific disciplines
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience in:
- GLP Operations
- Quality Assurance
- Regulatory Compliance
- In Vivo Research Environment (preferred)
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences.
- Experience supporting quality systems or compliance programs.
