Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

As an AWVS Compliance Associate I, you will support animal welfare and regulatory compliance operations through documentation, data management, and process coordination activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining systems that store animal welfare and regulatory data.
• Prepare compliance documentation for inspections and client visits.
• Support tracking and management of licenses, permits, and certifications.
• Maintain centralized compliance records and respond to client requests.
• Coordinate updates to departmental policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned training programs and compliance tasks.
• Provide basic system support and training assistance to team members.
• Perform additional compliance-related duties as assigned.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience in:
  • Life Sciences
  • Regulatory Affairs
  • Compliance
  • Related scientific disciplines
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in:
  • GLP Operations
  • Quality Assurance
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • In Vivo Research Environment (preferred)
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences.
• Experience supporting quality systems or compliance programs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced regulated environment.
