Job Summary:
The Junior Executive in Quality Control (Microbiology) will be responsible for analysis, sampling, and documentation in the microbiology section. This role reports to the Section Manager – Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate double door and vertical autoclaves.
- Prepare validated load patterns for glassware, sampling accessories, testing accessories, aseptic area garments, and microbiological media.
- Isolate and identify microbial isolates.
- Perform environmental monitoring in the general microbiology laboratory.
- Monitor temperatures of incubators, refrigerators, and freezers.
- Calibrate instruments according to the schedule.
- Maintain compliance with cGLP (current Good Laboratory Practices) in the Quality Control laboratory.
- Execute any other tasks assigned by the HOD or Section Manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
- M.Sc. in Microbiology
- 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in a microbiology or quality control environment
