Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Research Associate – Analytical R&D, you will be integral to Jubilant Pharmova’s research team, contributing to world-class innovations. Your responsibilities include:
- Compound Analysis: Utilize chromatography and spectroscopy techniques for medicinal chemistry compounds.
- Method Development: Formulate methods to determine organic compound purity using HPLC, LCMS, GC, and NMR.
- Compound Identification: Perform structural elucidation with 1D and 2D NMR experiments and integrate data using LCMS and HPLC.
- Purification: Develop analytical and preparative scale methods for compound separation and purification.
- Calibration & Processing: Calibrate analytical instruments, process data, and report findings in structured formats.
- Literature Search: Explore and validate the latest methodologies for similar compounds.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with teams to finalize methods, structure elucidation, and safety compliance.
Qualification
- Education: Postgraduate in Science or a Doctorate.
- Experience: 0–1 year in Analytical R&D or a similar role.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in analytical techniques like HPLC, LCMS, GC, and NMR.
- Ability to conduct structural elucidation and literature searches.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety protocols.
