Key Responsibilities of Medical Science Liaison โ€“ Oncology

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will serve as the scientific representative for the Oncology therapeutic area and engage with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Major Responsibilities

  • Identify, map, and profile oncology Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain scientific relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Execute Medical Affairs initiatives aligned with oncology franchise strategies.
  • Act as the scientific expert for oncology products and clinical data.
  • Discuss treatment trends, clinical trial outcomes, and emerging scientific evidence.
  • Gather medical insights and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Handle scientific information requests from healthcare professionals.
  • Support internal teams through scientific training and medical education activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial, regulatory, and market access functions.
  • Contribute to shaping the external scientific landscape for oncology therapies.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

  • PharmD
  • PhD (Life Sciences or relevant field)
  • MBBS
  • MD
  • BDS
  • MDS

Experience

  • 0โ€“2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or clinical research industry.
  • Fresh candidates with strong scientific knowledge may also be considered.
