IQVIA is seeking an Associate Clinical Data Coordinator/Clinical Data Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role involves providing data management expertise to the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team, ensuring efficient and high-quality data management products that meet customer needs. The position may also involve team leadership activities under the supervision of the Data Operations Coordinator (DOC), Data Team Lead (DTL), or Functional Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as a Data Operations Coordinator (DOC) for one protocol with less than 5 operations staff (excluding DE) or 15+ easy to moderately complex central laboratory studies.
- Lead a specific data management task (e.g., coder, tester, or database designer) with guidance.
- Act as a backup to a DOC or DTL.
- Conduct data reviews and write and resolve data clarifications.
- Lead database audit teams and develop and test databases and edit specifications.
- Perform testing of programming and clinical data coding.
- Understand and comply with core operating procedures and working instructions.
- Meet assigned objectives and maintain good communications and working relationships with the CDM team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical, Biological, or Mathematical Sciences, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may also be considered.
- Skills: Medical terminology exposure, excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and computer skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to exercise excellent attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to act independently and with initiative to resolve problems.
- Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
