Mitocon Biopharma Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the position of Business Development Executive / Associate – Pharmacovigilance. This is a remote opportunity for candidates interested in combining pharmacovigilance, drug safety and business development expertise with client acquisition and relationship management.
Candidates with B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, Life Sciences, Healthcare or related educational backgrounds may be considered for this opportunity. The company is seeking candidates with 1–2 years of experience in business development or client acquisition, while exposure to pharmacovigilance, drug safety, CRO, clinical research or life sciences services will be an added advantage.
The role involves identifying potential clients, generating new business opportunities, understanding client requirements and coordinating with pharmacovigilance and other internal teams to develop appropriate proposals and solutions.
About the Role
The Business Development Executive / Associate – Pharmacovigilance will support business growth and client acquisition within the pharmacovigilance and drug safety domain.
The selected candidate will interact with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO and healthcare organizations while working closely with internal Pharmacovigilance, Medical Affairs, Quality Assurance and Operations teams.
This position may be particularly relevant for pharmacy and life sciences professionals who have business development experience and want to build their careers in the commercial side of pharmacovigilance and drug safety services.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the Mitocon Biopharma Business Development – Pharmacovigilance role include:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within the Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety domain.
- Research potential clients across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO and healthcare industries.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate internally to identify suitable service solutions.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, quotations and other client-facing documents.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors and potential business opportunities.
- Follow up with prospective clients through professional emails, calls and meetings.
- Coordinate with Pharmacovigilance, Medical Affairs, QA and Operations teams to understand organizational capabilities.
- Support responses to client requirements and business enquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, business opportunities, client interactions and follow-up activities.
- Support overall client acquisition and business development initiatives for pharmacovigilance services.
Qualification
Candidates with the following educational backgrounds may be considered:
B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm.D / B.Sc or M.Sc in Life Sciences / Healthcare or related disciplines
Pharmacy qualifications such as B.Pharm, M.Pharm and Pharm.D are preferred according to the provided job description.
Experience Required
Candidates should have approximately 1–2 years of experience in Business Development or Client Acquisition.
