Job Description: Statistical Programming Intern
Pfizer’s Statistical Data Sciences and Analysis (SDSA) team, under GBDM, is offering an exciting fixed-term internship for aspiring Statistical Programmers. This internship provides hands-on experience in statistical programming, data analysis, and advanced technologies like R, Python, and AI/ML.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering high-quality programming outputs for Pfizer’s clinical trials.
- Work alongside full-time employees (FTEs) on SDSA projects involving statistical analysis, data visualization, and machine learning applications.
- Gain exposure to clinical trial data, submission standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop proficiency in SAS, R, Python, and other statistical programming languages.
- Contribute to innovative solutions in biostatistics and data science.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s or M.Tech degree (final year) in:
- Statistics / Biostatistics
- Mathematics / Data Science
- Biotechnology / Bio-Medical Engineering
- Computer Science / IT Engineering
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coding skills.
- Passion for data science, AI/ML, and clinical research.
Internship Details:
- Duration: 4-6 months (Starting April 2025)
- Work Location: On-site (Chennai, India)
