Job Description: Trainee – Quality Control (Molecular Biology)
Immuneel Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trainee – Quality Control (Molecular Biology) to join their team in Bengaluru. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform molecular biology assays, including DNA extraction, quantitation, PCR, and droplet digital PCR for CAR-T products.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment/instruments in Molecular Biology Labs.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensure data integrity.
- Maintain logs, inventory tracking, documentation, and filing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support QC release assays.
- Prepare and revise documents as per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Report discrepancies to the reporting manager promptly.
- Support sample management activities in QC.
Primary Objectives:
- Perform and document Molecular Biology assays accurately.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP guidelines.
- Contribute to the release of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
Competencies Required:
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of recombinant DNA technology and hands-on experience in molecular biology assays.
- Soft Skills: Team player, adaptable, quick learner, analytical, self-motivated, and committed to quality.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D./M.Sc./MS/M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Molecular Genetics.
- Freshers or candidates with 0-2 years of experience in Pharma/Biopharma or contract testing labs are welcome to apply.
Working Conditions:
- Role Type: Full-time, On-site
- Work Hours: General Shift (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) or Post-Noon Shift (2:00 PM to 11:00 PM) on a rotational basis. Two days off per week (not necessarily Saturday/Sunday).
- Trainee Tenure: 6 months
