About the Antibody Team

The antibody team is at the forefront of antibody engineering and development, focusing on reagent quality and specificity. Core activities include antibody design, purification, conjugation, and testing in various immuno-applications using cutting-edge tools and techniques. The team’s primary goal is to develop advanced products and create data to accelerate research applications.

Role and Responsibilities

Role:

The Scientist I will play a key role in antibody development, utilizing molecular, protein, and cell biology methods to enhance performance and specificity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute meticulous experiments to achieve program goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of results in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.
  • Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on advancements in antibody development.
  • Compile and present experimental data in written and oral formats during team meetings.
  • Adhere to project schedules and focus on quality and detail.

Candidate Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Required: Master’s degree with 0–3 years of experience or a fresh PhD in life sciences with a focus on molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.
  • Preferred: Experience in antibody sequencing or familiarity with antibody development platforms.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, cloning, and DNA/RNA analysis.
  • Knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) platforms, library preparation, and sequencing data analysis using tools like Python or R.
  • Familiarity with immunoassays such as ELISA, Western Blotting, and Immunohistochemistry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and statistical tools like Prism.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A self-motivated, collaborative team player with a passion for learning and innovation.
