Role & Responsibilities
As an Entry Level Clinical SAS Programmer, the selected candidate will support clinical programming activities across the clinical development process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, validate, and maintain SAS programs for clinical trial data analysis and reporting.
- Support the creation of datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs).
- Work with Clinical Data Management and Biostatistics teams to understand study data and programming requirements.
- Apply documented programming specifications and standards.
- Review clinical data and support data cleaning and quality-control activities.
- Troubleshoot programming issues and investigate discrepancies in outputs.
- Review relevant study documentation and contribute to client and regulatory deliverables.
- Maintain programming standards and follow established clinical programming best practices.
- Develop knowledge of clinical research processes and regulatory requirements under the supervision of senior programmers.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong programming and statistical programming skills.
- Knowledge or coursework in SAS programming.
- Solid understanding of statistics and its application to clinical trial analysis.
- Understanding of data management, data structures, validation, and quality control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail in programming and documentation.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.
- Interest in clinical research, regulatory processes, and clinical programming.
- Global SAS Certification is mandatory.
