Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Conducting BET testing using Gel Clot and Kinetic methods along with validations.
- Performing Microbial Limit Testing (MLT).
- Carrying out Sterility Testing.
- Executing Product Method Validation for BET, MLT, and Sterility methods.
- Performing plate enumeration and microbial identification.
- Conducting colony characterization activities.
- Handling autoclave operations, media preparation, and Growth Promotion Test (GPT).
- Maintaining accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Operating and maintaining microbiology laboratory instruments.
- Following GLP, GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Supporting investigation of deviations, OOS, and laboratory incidents.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- M.Sc. in Microbiology.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory experience.
- Knowledge of microbiological testing techniques.
- Understanding of GLP, GMP, and laboratory documentation practices.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Experience handling investigations, deviations, and Out of Specification (OOS) cases.
