Exciting Opportunity: API Quality Control Team Member
We are currently recruiting for a key role within our Quality Control department, specifically within the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) team. This position offers an excellent chance for career advancement within a dynamic and innovative pharmaceutical environment.
Job Overview:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the quality assurance of our active pharmaceutical ingredients. You will be a vital member of a team focused on ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout the API production process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background and experience with a wide range of laboratory techniques and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wet Chemical Analysis: Conduct wet chemical analysis using various techniques including Karl Fischer titrations (KF), UV-Vis spectrophotometry, automated titrations, oven drying, and Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) for API and drug substance analysis. Ensure the robustness and reliability of all analytical methods.
- Chromatographic Techniques: Demonstrate proficiency in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) techniques. This includes method development, validation, and routine analysis.
- Analytical Instrumentation: Operate and maintain a variety of analytical instruments, ensuring their proper function and adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Proficiently conduct sampling and analysis of packaging and raw materials.
- Data Management and LIMS: Be well-versed in using Empower software and Labware LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for data acquisition, processing, and reporting.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance within the Quality Control department, ensuring all work adheres to cGMP regulations.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control environment, with a proven track record of successful analytical testing and data interpretation.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, meticulous record-keeping, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using various analytical instruments and software is essential. Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., cGMP) is highly desirable.
