Job Responsibilities
As a Clinical Content Analyst, you will:
- Manage and maintain the Payment Policy Library to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with US Research Medical Directors and Client Medical Directors on medical policy decisions.
- Support the scheduled review process for state Medicaid and global policies.
- Respond to internal and client queries related to medical policy and claims edits.
- Assist in updating policies quarterly and annually.
- Participate in training and development to stay updated with industry trends.
- Work on research-related projects as assigned, contributing to the organization’s objectives.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates must have:
- A medical degree (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS; a Diploma in Specialties or MD is preferred).
- Cleared major exams (SSC, HSC, and qualifying degrees) in the first attempt.
- Strong knowledge or experience in US healthcare billing, coding, and plan operations.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding (preferred).
- Clinical experience in hospitals, offices, or nursing homes is a plus.
Skills Required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Adaptability to work with remote teams across geographies.
- Willingness to work in different shifts, including night shifts.
