Key Responsibilities
As an Associate STEM Content Analyst โ Polymer, you will:
- Extract and analyze novel scientific information from polymer patents
- Perform polymer indexing and coding using DWPI editorial standards
- Curate detailed data on:
- Monomers
- Catalysts
- Additives
- Chemical processes
- Polymer applications
- Interpret complex patent datasets and convert them into structured scientific content
- Stay updated with latest trends in polymer chemistry and materials science
- Contribute to high-quality content enrichment for Derwent Innovation products
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc. in Chemistry (Polymer / Organic / Analytical / Physical / Inorganic)
OR - B.Tech / M.Tech in Polymer Technology
Experience
- Freshers or candidates with 1โ2 years of content or analytical experience
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent English communication (written & verbal)
- Basic proficiency in:
- MS Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Outlook
Preferred Skills
- Experience with chemical drawing tools like ISIS Draw
- Familiarity with polymer structures and patent literature
