Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate STEM Content Analyst – Pharma Chemistry, you will play a vital role in supporting the PharmaChem team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coding and Indexing:
- Analyze and code chemical compounds present in patents using tools like ISIS Draw or Marvin JS.
- Ensure compliance with Derwent Innovation Product policies and conventions.
- Research and Analysis:
- Conduct patent analysis and internet research to gather relevant data.
- Apply knowledge of IUPAC nomenclature, Markush structures, and complex chemical reactions.
- Content Development:
- Contribute to content writing and editing related to Pharma and Chemistry.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in Pharma, Chemistry, and Intellectual Property.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with a diverse team of professionals to achieve project goals.
- Participate in upskilling initiatives to enhance technical and analytical capabilities.
About You:
Education:
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc in Chemistry.
Experience:
- Freshers or candidates with 1-2 years of experience in Pharma/Chemistry-based content editing (non-R&D).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ISIS Draw, Marvin JS, or similar chemical structure drawing tools.
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of patent analysis, IUPAC nomenclature, and drug applications.
- Elementary proficiency in foreign languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish).
