Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing procurement of reference standards and impurities.
- Purchasing QC glassware, HPLC/GC columns, chemicals, reagents, and excipients.
- Procuring laboratory consumables and manufacturing consumables.
- Handling procurement of primary and secondary packaging materials.
- Ensuring timely availability of materials to support Production and R&D requirements.
- Floating RFQs and obtaining competitive quotations.
- Conducting commercial evaluations and finalizing purchase orders.
- Negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Working with SAP or equivalent ERP systems for procurement activities.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- M.Sc. or M.Pharm qualification.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical procurement or supply chain.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials and laboratory consumables.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP software will be an advantage.
