Key Responsibilities

The selected Data Quality & Stewardship Analyst will:

  • Evaluate datasets for accuracy, completeness, duplication, consistency, and compliance with business rules.
  • Identify missing, outdated, inconsistent, or conflicting information.
  • Correct and complete records through approved source systems and workflows.
  • Match, merge, reconcile, and validate data collected from different systems.
  • Conduct data profiling and quality checks using SQL, Excel, Power Query, and other data-management tools.
  • Investigate discrepancies and identify their underlying causes.
  • Document data issues, remediation activities, assumptions, matching logic, and quality-control procedures.
  • Collaborate with data initiatives, business operations, analytics, and technology teams.
  • Understand source systems, data definitions, business rules, and quality expectations.
  • Escalate systemic data gaps, process defects, and system limitations.
  • Independently manage assigned data-quality activities and communicate progress.
  • Support the preparation of data-quality metrics, scorecards, and exception reports.

Qualifications and Who Can Apply

Applicants must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related professional experience.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience in data quality, data stewardship, data operations, data analysis, business operations, or a related area.
