Job Responsibilities

As a Formulation Tech Transfer Executive, you will play a pivotal role in transferring pharmaceutical technologies from R&D to manufacturing. Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and understanding technology from the Formulation and Development (F&D) department.
• Designing and optimizing process parameters, participating in R&D trials.
• Transferring technology from R&D to the receiver’s site for specific products.
• Monitoring demo, exhibit, scale-up, and optimization batches.
• Reviewing technical information sheets, product details, and equipment requirements for plant trials, scale-up, and exhibit batches.
• Proposing and fixing batch sizes for demo, scale-up, exhibit, and commercial production based on equipment capacity and annual requirements.
• Observing and supporting demo batches with the F&D team.
• Preparing scale-up batch protocols, reports, Master Formula Cards (MFC), sampling protocols, and risk assessments.
• Troubleshooting exhibit batches at manufacturing locations.
• Preparing summary reports and investigating deviations, Out-of-Specification (OOS), or Out-of-Trend (OOT) issues during scale-up or exhibit batches.
• Drafting responses to agency queries.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Education: M.Pharm degree from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 2-8 years in formulation tech transfer, with preference for experience in US and Europe markets.
• Strong understanding of process optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer protocols.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and documentation (e.g., MFC, risk assessments).
