Job Description: Medical Advisor, Vaccines
Pfizer is seeking a Medical Advisor for its Vaccines division in Mumbai. The role involves providing strategic medical and scientific expertise to support product development, commercialization, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic & Policy Support
- Provide medical and tactical inputs for brand planning and promotional strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
2. Commercialization & Promotion
- Assist in designing medical-marketing programs and clinical initiatives.
- Review and approve promotional, training, and CME materials.
- Engage with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) through medical interactions, advisory boards, and scientific symposia.
3. Clinical Research
- Develop and review clinical trial protocols (Phase IV, PMS, Observational studies).
- Support regulatory submissions (NDAs, ICF, CRF, SAP).
- Contribute to publication planning and medical writing for study reports.
4. Medical Information & Training
- Provide accurate medical information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Train sales teams on product knowledge, disease areas, and new launches.
5. Regulatory & Compliance
- Assist in product registrations and labeling updates.
- Support pharmacovigilance activities related to adverse event reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD/MS) or Ph.D. from a recognized institution.
- 2+ years in the pharmaceutical industry OR
- 3+ years in clinical practice/research.
Skills & Competencies
✔ Strong knowledge of clinical research, drug development, and regulatory affairs.
✔ Excellent medical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
✔ Ability to analyze data, make evidence-based decisions, and influence stakeholders.
✔ Understanding of vaccines, immunology, or related therapeutic areas (preferred).
