About the Role
The Scientific Publications Record Coordinator plays a vital part in Pfizerโs Publications Management Team (PMT), supporting Scientific Publications Committees (SPCs) and ensuring accurate, compliant publication recordkeeping in Aurora โ Pfizerโs Salesforce-based publication management platform.
Key Responsibilities
Aurora Recordkeeping & Compliance (Core)
- Create and maintain accurate publication records in Aurora.
- Follow Pfizerโs SOPs for publication compliance.
- Enter metadata, collaborators, and structured data in the system.
- Route drafts for reviews and approvals.
- Track publication lifecycle stages and follow up with authors.
- Update final publication files, citations, and statuses.
- Conduct data integrity checks for dashboards and reporting.
Collaboration & System Enhancement (Ad Hoc)
- Provide updates and reports to Publication Specialists.
- Join SPC meetings as needed.
- Contribute to training materials and business rules for Aurora.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support data migration and integration activities.
- Assist in Open Access, PCD monitoring, and source-data coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree (any field) OR Associateโs degree with 4 yearsโ experience.
- Minimum 2 yearsโ experience in pharma/biotech, peer-reviewed publishing, or data management.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience in scientific publications preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Salesforce-based platforms (Aurora experience preferred).
