- Research Chemist / Research Associate: (2-6 years of experience)
- Process Engineer / Officer: (2-6 years of experience)
Detailed Job Descriptions:
Research Chemist / Research Associate (M.Sc. Organic Chemistry):
This role requires a strong foundation in organic chemistry and practical experience in a research setting. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and conducting organic synthesis experiments, including multi-step reactions.
- Optimizing reaction conditions to achieve high yields and purity.
- Characterizing synthesized compounds using various analytical techniques (NMR, HPLC, etc.).
- Maintaining detailed laboratory records and adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals.
- Contributing to the development of new processes and the improvement of existing ones.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced research environment.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in organic chemistry and relevant technologies.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry.
- 2-6 years of experience in a relevant industrial setting (pharmaceutical industry preferred).
- Proven ability to design, execute, and interpret results from organic synthesis experiments.
- Proficiency in using various analytical techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Process Engineer / Officer (B.Tech Chemical Engineering):
This position involves the optimization and scaling-up of chemical processes within our custom manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing chemical processes for the production of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs.
- Optimizing existing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.
- Conducting process simulations and modeling to predict process performance.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., cGMP).
- Collaborating with other engineering and research personnel to achieve project objectives.
- Contributing to process validation and technology transfer activities.
- Participation in scale-up and technology transfer projects.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Tech).
- 2-6 years of experience in process engineering within the pharmaceutical or fine chemical industry.
- Hands-on experience with process optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of process simulation software and tools.
- Strong understanding of chemical process safety and cGMP regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
