Analyst Job Responsibilities
As an Analyst at Merck, you will support business and product management activities across multiple operational areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support Product Managers with Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) activities.
- Review product setup, master data completeness, accuracy, and correctness.
- Support Master Data Management, including data review, cleansing, enrichment, and consistency checks.
- Review and clean Product Information Management (PIM) data.
- Troubleshoot web Product Detail Page (PDP) data issues.
- Handle change controls, material extensions, and ticketing systems.
- Support portfolio initiatives, including back-order clearance and global extensions.
- Assist with lost-source troubleshooting activities.
- Provide Project Management Office (PMO) support.
- Create dashboards and collect data for business reporting.
- Coordinate meetings, reminders, and project-related activities.
- Meet defined SLA and TAT requirements.
- Maintain quality and productivity standards.
- Ensure internal customer requirements are completed on time.
- Participate in process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
- Support ISO and other additional team activities.
Qualifications Required
Life Sciences degree or equivalent scientific background with strong knowledge of business operations, master data management, Excel, Office 365, data analytics, Power BI, and business reporting.
