Job Summary
Medpace is seeking a Data Coordinator to join its Mumbai-based Data Management team. The role involves EDC setup, clinical database cleanup, data quality monitoring, data management documentation, external data coordination, and collaboration with sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in EDC setup activities, ensuring proper execution of EDC database build steps and adherence to timelines.
- Lead clinical database cleanup tasks for one or more studies.
- Create and maintain Data Management documents, specifications, and study plans.
- Monitor EDC data quality, CRF completion, query, and SDV metrics.
- Coordinate external data transfers, vendor reconciliation, and data-cleaning activities.
- Mentor Junior Data Coordinators.
- Collaborate with sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely data delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- 3+ years of clinical data management experience.
- Hands-on experience with Medidata RAVE or another EDC system.
- Mumbai candidates preferred.
2. Associate Data Manager

Job Summary
Medpace is seeking an Associate Clinical Data Manager to join its Data Management team in Mumbai. The position involves managing Data Management activities, clinical database development, project timelines, data management teams, sponsor communication, and project deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Data Management Plans.
- Oversee development and maintenance of CRF specifications, CRF completion guidelines, edit check specifications, and external database specifications.
- Oversee EDC design, development, and validation.
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and Data Management teams to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
- Develop project metrics and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Represent Data Management in sponsor meetings and cross-functional discussions.
- Coordinate overall Data Management by serving as the primary contact for the Sponsor, external data providers, and project team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree with 5+ years of clinical Data Management experience.
- Experience managing multiple clinical projects and serving as the primary sponsor contact.
- Prior experience in line management, team and project leadership, and Data Management deliverables.
- Strong understanding of clinical Data Management processes, database structures, and clinical research methodologies.
- Proficiency with EDC, Excel, and data analysis tools. Experience with Rave or SAS is preferred.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and clinical research concepts.
