Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Writer II (MLR Reviewer), you will:
- Review scientific and promotional medical content before MLR submission.
- Perform end-to-end publication management activities.
- Create publication plans using PubConnect.
- Manage Veeva Vault documentation and workflows.
- Upload document versions and maintain document references.
- Ensure promotional materials are MLR-ready before submission.
- Verify scientific claims against supporting references.
- Prepare and edit:
- Journal manuscripts
- Scientific abstracts
- Posters
- Oral presentations
- Review statistical analysis plans and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Biostatistics, and Clinical teams.
- Perform peer review of medical writing deliverables.
- Conduct literature searches using scientific databases.
- Mentor junior medical writers when required.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, publication guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Complete assigned projects within timelines and budgets.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biotechnology, or related fields.
- Strong scientific writing and editing skills.
- Experience with Medical Writing and MLR Review.
- Knowledge of Veeva Vault PromoMats.
- Experience using PubConnect or Datavision.
- Understanding of publication planning processes.
- Familiarity with clinical research documentation.
- Knowledge of medical affairs and regulatory documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently within global teams.
