Position: Associate STEM Content Analyst – Pharma Chemistry
Clarivate is looking for candidates to join its PharmaChem team. The selected candidates will work on indexing and coding chemical compounds found in patents according to Derwent Innovation product policies and conventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Code and index chemical compounds present in patents.
- Follow Derwent Innovation product policies and conventions.
- Actively participate in team activities.
- Stay updated with current trends and developments in pharmaceutical and chemistry domains.
- Develop technical skills in Pharma, Chemistry, Intellectual Property, and Data Analysis.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have one of the following educational qualifications:
- B.Pharm – Bachelor of Pharmacy
- M.Pharm – Master of Pharmacy
- M.Sc Chemistry
Experience Requirements:
- Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Chemistry or Pharma-based content editing are eligible.
- Research and Development (R&D)-related experience does not fall under the specified experience category.

Clarivate’s PharmaChem team operates across Chennai and Hyderabad and has more than 20 members, with experience ranging from 0 to 15 years.
The team comprises Associate Content Editors and Content Editors responsible for indexing and coding chemical compounds in patents for the Derwent Innovation product.
This product is used by leading R&D laboratories, universities, educational institutions, and pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
The team reports to Content Managers based in India and London.
