Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conduct polymorph screening studies for APIs and evaluate solid-state forms.
- Perform crystallization process development and optimization for pharmaceutical compounds.
- Carry out solid-state characterization using analytical techniques such as PXRD, DSC, TGA, Microscopy, FTIR, and Raman spectroscopy.
- Independently operate PXRD instrumentation, including sample preparation, data acquisition, and interpretation.
- Analyze and interpret solid-state characterization data for form identification and stability assessment.
- Support process development activities related to polymorphism, salt/co-crystal screening, and crystallization scale-up.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and experimental records in compliance with laboratory practices.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following:
- M.Sc. in a relevant science discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical R&D.
- Hands-on knowledge of polymorph screening and crystallization studies.
- Experience with PXRD, DSC, TGA, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, and other solid-state characterization techniques.
- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
