Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Pharmacokineticist I at Labcorp, you will:
- Perform pharmacokinetic (PK) and toxicokinetic (TK) data analysis.
- Serve as Principal Investigator or Contributing Scientist under senior guidance.
- Design and review pharmacokinetic study protocols.
- Conduct non-compartmental pharmacokinetic analysis.
- Prepare high-quality scientific reports and study documentation.
- Collaborate with clients to develop analytical strategies.
- Participate in scientific discussions and client meetings.
- Interpret experimental data and ensure scientific accuracy.
- Respond to Quality Assurance (QAU) observations.
- Ensure compliance with GLP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure timely report delivery.
- Train Pharmacokinetic Study Coordinators and junior staff.
- Support scientific publications and conference presentations.
- Contribute to departmental process improvements and forecasting activities.
Educational Qualification
Candidates with the following qualifications are preferred:
- M.Pharm (Pharmacology / Pharmacokinetics)
- M.S. Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Master’s in Pharmacology
- Master’s in Pharmacokinetics
- M.Sc. Life Sciences
- M.Sc. Biotechnology
- M.Sc. Biomedical Sciences
- M.Sc. Biochemistry
- PhD in Pharmacology
- PhD in Pharmacokinetics
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Other relevant Life Sciences degrees
Experience Required
- 3โ4 years of pharmacokinetic data analysis experience
- Minimum 2 years as a Pharmacokineticist or related scientific role
- Experience in scientific report writing
- Experience with PK/TK studies
