Key Responsibilities
- GLP and GMP Compliance: Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory and Documentation Practices within the Quality Control (QC) lab.
- Sample Testing Coordination: Oversee testing of samples through Public Testing Laboratories (PTLs).
- Lab Operations: Maintain lab compliance, manage lab supplies and inventory, and ensure lab readiness for audits.
- Instrument Management: Handle operation, qualification, calibration, and maintenance of microbiological and analytical instruments.
- Microbiological Testing: Conduct microbiological testing, including environmental and water monitoring, media preparation, and culture maintenance.
- System Validation: Support the validation and monitoring of Direct Impact Systems (e.g., HVAC, water, autoclave).
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure timely closure of QC-related investigations and maintain audit readiness. Manage SOPs and specifications for raw materials and finished products.
Regulatory Responsibilities
- Ensure the lab meets regulatory inspection requirements, including compliance with GMP and ISO standards, and handle internal and external audits effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: Postgraduate degree in Science (preferably in Microbiology).
