Key Responsibilities

Candidates selected for the Baxter Spec, PV job will be responsible for:

  • Processing adverse event reports from multiple sources
  • Reviewing and performing complete data entry of safety cases
  • Assessing seriousness, causality, expectedness, and event outcomes
  • Writing medical narratives for individual case safety reports (ICSRs)
  • Coding medical terminology using MedDRA
  • Ensuring accurate data entry into the Pharmacovigilance Safety System
  • Performing case follow-ups and query management
  • Coordinating with affiliates and reporters for missing medical information
  • Supporting quality checks and aggregate report preparation
  • Maintaining compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates with the following qualifications can apply:

  • B.Pharm
  • M.Pharm
  • Pharm.D
  • Nursing Degree
  • Life Sciences or Science Degree
  • Equivalent healthcare qualification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in Pharmacovigilance or Regulatory Affairs preferred
  • 2โ€“3 years of hospital or patient care experience preferred
  • Knowledge of MedDRA and safety databases is advantageous
