As an Epidemiology Research Associate 2 at IQVIA, you will organize and manage research projects in epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology. Your responsibilities will include contributing to study protocols, conducting literature reviews, preparing abstracts and manuscripts, and assisting with statistical analysis plans. You will collaborate with senior staff on research initiatives and contribute to the development of observational health research best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement epidemiology/pharmacoepidemiology methods in real-world studies.
- Assist in the preparation of study protocols, reports, and client-facing documents.
- Conduct critical literature reviews and provide written summaries.
- Prepare abstracts, manuscripts, and oral presentations for conferences.
- Collaborate with project teams and contribute to scientific tasks and regulatory responses.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, public health, pharmacy, or related scientific field.
- ≥1 year of relevant experience for Master’s degree holders.
- Sound methodological training in epidemiology or related areas.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; medical writing experience is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R).
