Job Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Executive at Indegene, your responsibilities will include:

Patient Care and Engagement

  • Managing end-to-end patient engagement for specific therapy areas.
  • Counseling patients to improve health outcomes based on predefined touchpoints.
  • Tracking and ensuring patient adherence to therapy plans.
  • Providing empathetic support to patients and resolving queries using FAQs.

Operational Tasks

  • Reporting adverse drug reactions or market complaints as per SOPs.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to support patient needs.
  • Ensuring accurate patient data entry in CRM tools.
  • Capturing adverse drug reaction details in predefined templates within set timelines.
  • Reviewing and obtaining approvals for financial deviations.

Team Collaboration and Reporting

  • Building good rapport with physicians.
  • Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and review calls.
  • Reporting accurate data to managers within defined timelines.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders for seamless operations.

Additional Duties

  • Handling email and call-based queries.
  • Adhering to SLAs and ensuring timely task execution.
  • Executing small-to-medium project tasks and participating in organizational practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: B. Pharma, M. Pharma, B.Sc., or any life science graduate.
  • Experience: 6 months to 10 years in patient counseling or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written in English and regional languages).
  • Problem-solving abilities and understanding of counseling techniques.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and the healthcare industry.
  • Flexibility to travel and adapt to ad hoc requirements.
  • Self-starter with team collaboration skills.
