Key Responsibilities

As an In Vitro & Molecular Pharmacology Scientist, you will:

  • Design and develop in vitro assays, including biochemical, cell-based, signaling, primary cell-based, and radioligand binding assays.
  • Demonstrate expertise in enzyme and GPCR pharmacology and related assays.
  • Handle complex cellular models and ex-vivo systems to characterize lead candidates pharmacologically.
  • Champion drug discovery programs by establishing, troubleshooting, and driving in vitro assays for compound structure-activity relationship studies.
  • Execute screening assays in high-throughput formats (384 and 1536-well plates) and conduct mechanism-of-action studies.
  • Present and communicate findings to stakeholders and collaborate across departments for successful project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or Biological Engineering.
  • Experience: 2-6 years of relevant industry or academic experience.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in in vitro assay design and development.
  • Expertise in enzyme pharmacology and GPCR (G-protein-coupled receptor) assays.
  • Hands-on experience with complex cellular models and ex-vivo systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize experimental protocols.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to share insights with internal and external stakeholders.
