Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work in the Quality Control laboratory and support testing and documentation activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling sampling and retention of packaging materials and raw materials according to applicable SOPs.
- Affixing status labels such as sampled, approved and rejected labels.
- Receiving and analysing raw-material and packaging-material samples according to Standard Test Procedures.
- Recording observations in test data sheets and SAP while following cGMP and cGLP requirements.
- Maintaining logbooks associated with sample receiving, sampling and testing activities.
- Operating laboratory instruments such as HPLC, UV, IR, KF, polarimeter, balance, Vernier caliper, barcode reader and other specified QC equipment according to SOPs.
- Performing laboratory analysis accurately using calibrated instruments, clean glassware and established safety and quality procedures.
- Maintaining packaging-material standards including shade cards, approved artwork and albums.
- Ensuring cleanliness of the laboratory and instruments and proper completion and storage of documents.
- Filing, retrieving and archiving laboratory records at designated locations.
- Following EHS, GMP, GLP and company quality standards.
