GHX is seeking a Content Specialist to support day-to-day activities for customer data cleansing engagements. This role will primarily focus on driving accuracy, consistency, and completeness of enriched data related to medical-surgical devices and supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Data Sourcing and Enrichment: Source and enrich transactional data elements based on defined standards for medical-surgical devices and supplies, ensuring data quality for GHX’s customer base.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery of accurate data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Operations Manager to provide timely feedback on requirements that support operational needs.
- Process Development: Contribute to the development of processes and procedures that align with Content Operations goals and objectives.
Skills & Abilities:
- Industry Experience: Relevant experience in healthcare, life sciences, or medical technology.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical product functionality and terminology.
- Information Management: Experience in obtaining, reviewing, and collating information from various sources related to medical devices/equipment.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with proactive problem-solving skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent English comprehension and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: High degree of proficiency in MS Excel is required, along with excellent organizational skills.
- Additional Skills:
- Project management skills are a plus.
- Supply chain knowledge preferred.
- Basic SQL and understanding of UNSPSC are preferred.
- Understanding of distributor/manufacturer relationships is beneficial.

Education and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems or a healthcare-related discipline (e.g., biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or medical electronics).
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Quality Assurance, Data Management, Healthcare purchasing, or clinical roles.
