Job Description: Genome Variant Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth analysis of genomic variants (SNVs, CNVs, indels, structural variants) from NGS data.
• Interpret variants using ACMG/AMP guidelines and assess clinical significance.
• Collaborate with genetic counselors, clinical geneticists, and lab teams for variant curation and reporting.
• Maintain variant classification databases ensuring data accuracy.
• Stay updated on genomics advancements, tools, and methodologies.
• Contribute to SOP development for variant interpretation.
• Support R&D projects in genetic testing and precision medicine.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s or PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or related fields.
• 0-6 months experience in NGS data analysis & variant interpretation (clinical setting preferred).
• Familiarity with ClinVar, gnomAD, HGMD, Ensembl, and other genomic databases.
• Proficiency in bioinformatics tools & pipelines for genomic analysis.
• Strong grasp of variant classification frameworks (ACMG/AMP).
• Detail-oriented, independent, and collaborative work approach.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards in clinical genomics is a plus.
