job Responsibilities

As a Non-Certified Medical Coder at GeBBS, your responsibilities will include:

1. Analyzing Medical Records: Review and analyze patient medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses, procedures, and treatments.
2. Medical Coding: Apply anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology knowledge to assign appropriate codes.
3. Adherence to Guidelines: Follow industry standards and coding guidelines (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
4. Specialization Training: Post-training, work in specialized domains such as Radiology, Anesthesia, Emergency Department (ED), Evaluation and Management (E/M), and Home Health.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Background:
   • Life sciences graduates (e.g., B.Sc. in Biology, Biotechnology, or related fields).
   • Candidates who graduated after 2020 only.
2. Academic Records:
   • Carry xerox copies of 10th, 12th (Inter), and degree mark sheets or provisional certificates.
   • No backlogs allowed.
3. Skills and Knowledge:
   • Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
   • Aptitude for problem-solving and reasoning.
   • Proficiency in English comprehension and communication.
