job Responsibilities
As a Non-Certified Medical Coder at GeBBS, your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing Medical Records: Review and analyze patient medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses, procedures, and treatments.
- Medical Coding: Apply anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology knowledge to assign appropriate codes.
- Adherence to Guidelines: Follow industry standards and coding guidelines (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
- Specialization Training: Post-training, work in specialized domains such as Radiology, Anesthesia, Emergency Department (ED), Evaluation and Management (E/M), and Home Health.
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Background:
- Life sciences graduates (e.g., B.Sc. in Biology, Biotechnology, or related fields).
- Candidates who graduated after 2020 only.
- Academic Records:
- Carry xerox copies of 10th, 12th (Inter), and degree mark sheets or provisional certificates.
- No backlogs allowed.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and reasoning.
- Proficiency in English comprehension and communication.
