Positions Available:
1. Safety Surveillance Associate
Location: Hybrid
Job Type: Full-time
Experience Level: 0-4 Years
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 0-4 years in Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Research, Hospital Practice, or Teaching.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, or equivalent).
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Technical Skills:
- Computer literacy, particularly with relational databases.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with medical writing is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Processing:
- Identify, select, and process routine adverse drug experience cases.
- Prioritize cases and manage delays effectively.
- Assess complex cases and escalate when necessary.
- Case Review & Documentation:
- Review and verify event terms, case classifications (validity, seriousness, etc.).
- Write and edit case narratives.
- Generate and submit reports according to regulatory timelines.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Liaise with key partners such as Pfizer Country Organizations, Clinical Development, and License Partners for safety data collection and reconciliation.
- Follow up on cases and generate follow-up letters when needed.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Apply global regulations, guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and writing practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pfizer products.
2. Sr. Safety Surveillance Associate
Location: Hybrid
Job Type: Full-time
Experience Level: 4-6 Years
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 4-6 years in Pharmacovigilance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare (e.g., Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, or equivalent).
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated proficiency with relational databases.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Medical writing skills are beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Processing & Prioritization:
- Identify, select, and prioritize cases for processing, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assess complex cases and escalate them appropriately.
- Data Review & Reporting:
- Review, rank, and verify adverse event information.
- Write and edit case narratives to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory timelines for reporting.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with Pfizer Country Organizations, Clinical Development, and License Partners to collect and reconcile safety data.
- Request follow-up letters when necessary.
- Regulatory Adherence:
- Consistently apply regulatory requirements, Pfizer policies, and SOPs in all case assessments.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and regulatory guidelines.
