- Fresher (preferred) or up to one year of experience in content abstraction or editing
- Certification in typing (preferred)
- Extensive knowledge about patents and drafting
- Excellent English comprehension skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare abstracts for patents in accordance with set rules defined in the DWPI Abstracting policy document
- Perform detailed analysis of patents to provide accurate and editorially enhanced technical information, including descriptive titles, uses, novel features, advantages, and other key information related to the invention
- Capture useful insights from patent data to generate editorially enhanced technical summaries of patent records
- Use Clarivate specific tools for content editing, abstraction, and curation
About the Team:
The Abstraction Team in IP Operations is responsible for the enrichment and curation of high-quality content sets, adhering to individual and team goals, production targets, and defined quality standards. We analyze patents to create and deliver value-added content that enhances the research value to Patent Intelligence products and customers of Clarivate.
Hours of Work:
- Full-time: 9 am to 6 pm IST
- Some colleagues work from other locations (UK, USA)
