Job Description: PMO Coordinator (Apprentice)
As a PMO Coordinator (Apprentice), you will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO). This role offers an unforgettable experience in a dynamic, global environment, providing you with the opportunity to develop key skills in project management, financial forecasting, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the PMO in tracking open actions and conducting ad hoc deep dives to provide data insights for decision-making.
- Coordinate and improve critical IT Project Management Office processes, including governance readiness, resource mapping, and key metrics.
- Assist in the IT Project Financial Forecast process, including monthly financial project roll-ups for multiple portfolios.
- Support Program Managers by tracking open actions and providing data-driven insights.
- Identify process improvement or standardization opportunities and contribute innovative, long-term solutions.
Key Learning Objectives
- Gain hands-on experience in project implementation, financials, and stakeholder management in a global environment.
- Learn to use advanced project management tools and provide actionable support to the PMO and project teams.
- Develop skills in financial data extraction, forecasting, and using metrics to drive business decisions.
- Enhance communication skills to present results and status updates to stakeholders and Senior Management.
Qualifications for PMO Coordinator (Apprentice)
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Management or a similar discipline.
- Strong financial inclination and excellent analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Problem-solving mindset, proactive issue resolution skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Curiosity and proactivity to gain greater autonomy and achieve learning and development goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (internship, summer job) in a related field or business.
- Basic knowledge of Project Management terminology or completion of a relevant course.
