Job Purpose
The Junior Team Member in Microbiology plays a critical role in executing sample analyses and producing reliable results. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with microbiological quality parameters and standards.
Key Accountabilities: Your Responsibilities
- Sample Analysis: Perform and review allocated sample analyses to meet service level agreements.
- Error Reporting: Identify and report any errors, abnormal results, or non-compliances related to procedures, equipment, and instruments, ensuring results are delivered promptly to avoid delays.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of entries, raw data, and findings in relevant test data sheets, aiding lab QA in timely reviews.
- Instrument Evaluation: Monitor and document instrument and equipment breakdowns, suggesting mechanisms to prevent recurrence.
Education Qualification
- B.Sc in Microbiology
Relevant Work Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in microbiology is required for this position.
