About the Role

The Contract Research team at Ceyone Life Sciences works on custom synthesis and building-block/intermediate chemistry for global pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

Selected candidates will execute client-specific synthesis programs ranging from milligram to multi-gram scale while maintaining strict timelines, data integrity, and intellectual property confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute synthesis of target molecules and intermediates.
  • Design and implement efficient synthetic routes.
  • Perform parallel reactions and manage multiple synthesis programs.
  • Purify compounds using column chromatography and preparative TLC.
  • Characterize compounds using NMR, HPLC, and LC-MS.

About the Role

Ceyone Life Sciences is expanding its Process Development team at its Hyderabad R&D facility. The role involves route scouting, process optimization, organic synthesis, and scale-up activities for APIs and pharmaceutical intermediates.

The selected candidates will contribute to internal product development programs and CDMO partner projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute multi-step organic synthesis for API intermediates and drug substances.
  • Support route scouting and evaluation of alternative synthetic pathways.
  • Optimize reaction parameters, workup procedures, and purification processes.
  • Support process scale-up and scale-up readiness activities.
  • Assist with technology transfer documentation for pilot and kilo-lab operations.

About the Role

The Analytical Research & Development (AR&D) team provides analytical method development and testing support for both the Process Development and Contract Research teams.

The role includes analytical method development, validation, impurity profiling, structural support, and testing of APIs, intermediates, and in-process samples.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop analytical methods for APIs, intermediates, and in-process samples.
  • Perform method validation and analytical method transfer.
  • Work with HPLC, GC, IC, UV spectroscopy, and wet chemistry techniques.
  • Support Process Development and CRO teams with analytical testing.
  • Perform impurity profiling and characterization.
  • Support genotoxic impurity method development where applicable.
  • Prepare analytical protocols, STPs, validation reports, and related documentation.
  • Maintain instrument calibration and qualification.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity principles, including ALCOA+.
  • Follow ICH guidelines and regulatory documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with QA and regulatory teams.
  • Support and mentor junior analysts when required.

Requirements

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry.
