Key Responsibilities

As a Project Coordinator at bp, you will:

  • Coordinate project, program, and portfolio reports.
  • Support project planning, administration, and portfolio governance.
  • Manage project documentation, filing systems, and reporting.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, accruals, journals, and asset creation.
  • Handle project budget reconciliation and financial tracking.
  • Coordinate project setup, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project closeout.
  • Ensure project closeouts are completed within defined timelines.
  • Support regional project portfolio management activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and assist in successful project delivery.
  • Participate in regional project forums and provide commercial insights.
  • Maintain project records and improve reporting processes.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Vocational qualification in Project Administration or Business Administration.
  • Experience in project administration or project coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of project monitoring and reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience using Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:
