Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain scientific communication materials for healthcare professionals.
• Create scientific narratives, FAQs, standard response documents, slide decks, infographics, and educational content.
• Respond accurately to medical information requests regarding AstraZeneca products.
• Conduct scientific literature searches and evaluate published evidence.
• Translate complex clinical and scientific data into clear medical content.
• Perform medical accuracy review while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with global Medical Affairs teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support scientific congresses, product launches, and medical communication strategies.
• Improve scientific communication processes through automation and AI-enabled technologies.
• Contribute to digital medical information initiatives and process improvements.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should possess:

• PharmD (Preferred), MD, PhD, or equivalent scientific qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in Scientific Communications, Medical Information, Medical Writing, or related Medical Affairs functions.
• Strong knowledge of clinical research and healthcare systems.
• Experience in scientific literature evaluation and evidence synthesis.
• Excellent scientific writing and presentation development skills.
• Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for healthcare professionals.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.

Salary

Based on current industry standards for Scientific Communications professionals in Bengaluru:

Estimated Salary: ₹12,00,000 – ₹20,00,000 per annum (CTC)
