Responsibilities in Job

As a Medical Information & Communications professional at AstraZeneca India, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Applying scientific knowledge and insights related to therapeutic areas, healthcare systems, and regulatory landscapes to develop compelling medical content.
  • Collaborating with Medical Information & Communication (MI&C) teams to create and distribute scientific content addressing customer needs.
  • Providing high-quality, timely, and customer-focused medical information to healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Supporting operational efficiency through digital innovation and improved medical information processes.
  • Developing, reviewing, and maintaining scientific communication materials such as MI requests, digital assets, and field medical materials.
  • Engaging with HCPs by addressing complex medical inquiries and providing scientifically balanced responses.
  • Analyzing and reporting trends in medical and scientific insights to shape business strategy and scientific communication.

Qualifications Required

Candidates applying for this position should meet the following criteria:

  • An advanced scientific degree (PharmD preferred, MD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in medical information, pharmaceutical industries, or medical communication environments.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical and healthcare systems.
  • Experience in scientific literature evaluation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements in medical affairs.
