Key Responsibilities
In this Alcon Apprentice PSE job, selected candidates will:
- Support Product Support Engineering (PSE) activities for ophthalmic medical devices
- Assist in engineering documentation such as change records, reports, and technical summaries
- Support design control processes including requirements traceability and risk documentation
- Participate in ECO/ECN (Engineering Change Orders/Notices) under supervision
- Assist in analysis of field issues, manufacturing feedback, and complaint data
- Support review of drawings, BOMs, and technical components
- Work with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Quality, Regulatory)
- Learn medical device standards, quality systems, and regulatory frameworks
- Support product lifecycle and sustaining engineering activities

- Final-year BE/BTech students or fresh graduates
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background
