Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct process/product development, simulation, and modeling using ANSYS-CFD, Fluent, ANSYS Mechanical, ASPEN Plus.
- Perform experimental and simulation analysis for metallurgical/chemical processes.
- Design and execute measurements/experiments in lab/plant to validate models.
- Visit plants/customers to gather process information and implement technical solutions.
- Generate concepts for productivity and energy efficiency improvements, conduct feasibility analysis.
- Lead secondary data collection and literature surveys for problem-solving.
- Develop and finalize SOPs for experiments, processes, and equipment.
- Focus on workplace safety, coordinate with safety committee for hazard identification and SOP updates.
- Prepare research reports, publish/present work in conferences/journals, and file IPR.
- Participate in brainstorming and problem-solving sessions.
Skills Required:
- Process Modeling & Simulation (ANSYS-CFD, Fluent, ANSYS Mechanical, ASPEN Plus)
- Data Analytics (Python/R programming)
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering (0-2 years post-Ph.D.)
- M.Tech in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering (5-6 years post-M.Tech)
