Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Purchase Rate Contracts: Responsible for preparing rate contracts at the group level.
  • eProcurement Knowledge: Utilize electronic procurement systems efficiently.
  • Negotiation Skills: Conduct negotiations with vendors and suppliers.
  • Compliance: Maintain NABH & regulatory compliances within the department.
  • Coordination: Facilitate doctor meetings along with the Head of Department and coordinate the Drug and Therapeutics Committee (DTC).
  • Narcotic Process Monitoring: Ensure proper monitoring of narcotics.
  • Formulary Management: Correct and implement the formulary.
  • Comparative Analysis: Create comparative statements of products based on quoted rates, company, distributor, doctor usage, and consumption.
  • NABH Indicators: Adhere to NABH indicators.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Excel in using MS Office for various tasks.
  • Management Information Systems (MIS): Prepare MIS reports.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and implement data.
  • Inventory Management: Experience in managing inventory and coordinating with stores/user departments.
  • Reporting: Compile, compute, and tabulate data for various reports.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain records and files.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and oversee non-moving/expiring items.
  • Consumption Analysis: Analyze consumption patterns.
  • Market Trends: Keep superiors informed about market trends and collect product information.
  • Payment Coordination: Coordinate with accounts and receiving sections for supplier payments.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience and skills in supply chain management, negotiation, eProcurement, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to handle compliance and regulatory requirements.
